We joined the BIONNALE on the 16th and 17th of May in Berlin.
The Bionnale is an annual life sience event to identify, engage and start strategic relationships within the healthcare industry. It is the biggest networking event in the german capital region which is attended from representitives from academia and he industry. It really emphasizes networking since it is visited by more than 1000 people with international backrounds all over the world.
As 80 beats, we explored partnerships with established professionals in research, joined pitch sessions with start ups working on the next big thing and caught up with associated.
The key note was given by Prof. Dr. Heyo K. Kroemer, Chief Executive Officer of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In his speech he underlined that challenges health care system face - staffing issues being the No. 1. It is estimated that one third of personnel will leave health care work in the coming years - posing an enormous threat to the quality level of an already burdened system. Digital Heath, Value Based care and innovation are essential to tackle the issue.
With 80 Beats Medical, we are at the forefront of health management. We enable to detect cardiovascular risk early, mitigate it's effects through better therapy and reduce acute care as well as unnecessary hospital visits.
